Madame Thalia delves into the rich history of vaudeville,

both American and British, and reproduce the style and sound

of the artform’s golden years in the early 20th century.

Once called “the heart of American show business,” vaudeville

amused, titillated, and educated audiences through a variety of

acts all performing under a single bill: popular and classical

musicians, magicians, acrobats and jugglers, comedy and burlesque.  From Looney Tunes to The Tonight Show, The Muppets to Saturday Night Live, vaudeville’s
